After completing a health history, relevant topics will be discussed in greater detail. After the history, a spinal examination is performed.
The exam consists of several procedures that will aid in detecting the cause of your problem. The actual procedures that are performed vary based on your individual presentation. Posture analysis, weight-bearing tests, motion palpation, static palpation, range of motion, muscle strength, orthopedic and neurological tests are commonly used during this time. There are no invasive procedures performed in the office.
After all available information has been reviewed, a "Report of Findings" will outline your case. If accepted for care, recommendations will be made at this time. If further testing is required or other care is needed, a referral will be made.
